Nothing too important has happened since the last post. I still have 2 sick dudes at home and they are very slowly getting better. We'll see if I end up getting sick...and DIE! Quinn has been pumping himself full of meds and the only time I saw him happy was when the Doctor called and said he didn't have Mono. I guess him and Camille ARE being good.
So yesterday my car was just really bugging me cause I hadn't taken it in to get the alignment fixed yet. So I decided I should problably do that. I took it to Les Schwab and hoped they would fix it. I dropped it off for the night and was going to pick it up the next morning. Richard drove me around for the rest of the night. We went to TJ Max so me and him could look at some things for cheap. We found the warm ups that the Jazz wear in their games. Richard had just gotten paid so we both got them. If people didn't know any better, they would for sure think we're gay. Brant actually just told me that me and Richard should get married. I don't think I could handle his shaking.... After that we went to the mall so I could get another basketball. I left mine at the church and some little douche bag kid stole it. Note to self: never leave your basketball at THE CHURCH! It will get stolen! So we got our regular 5 buck pizza cause it was tuesday and then we came home and got ready for basketball. Randy McDougall called us and asked us if we wanted to go down to Gold's Gym to play with him and some other guys. We went and basically sucked it up bad. We played horrible, but whatever. Nothing important. No girls were watching anyway. That was the end of that night....but then we found out where we're going for the summer with APX. Windy City, CHICAGO!!! Scary, but it'll be fun!
Thursday was almost a rerun of wednesday. We all woke up and basically sat around for a while. Quinn and I played Xbox for a little bit and then I told Richard to take me to get my car. He finally did after I asked he 12 million times. We went there and the moron says he didn't do a dang thing to it. Just looked at it and figured out what I needed to do. He said with all the crap that it needed it was going to cost $513.....aaa.....NOOOO! No way I was paying that for them to do easy crap. The title of this blog is car farmers because these guys were trying to milk me for more money saying I needed to do more than I really did. They're just like the stupid guys in the mall who work in those cell phone booths. Just don't make eye contact and keep walking. Very annoying. So I say "I'd think about it" and left. Richard and I went to my parents house to watch the Jazz game. It was their 4th and final time playing the Spurs and they were in San Antonio. We watched 3 quarters then left to the church to play our own ball. When we came back from ball, we saw the Jazz won 105-98. The swept them for the 1st time in...I don't know. FOREVER! It was pretty awesome. I brought Richard back home and we've been chilling on our computers since then. Very exciting, I know. That's all for these passed 2 days!

Living in a Nursing Home!
Yesterday and today have not been the best and brightest for our house hold. Saturday night was not kind to Quinn and Brant. They both were attacked with some sickness that basically put both of them out of commission for a while. I didn't realize how bad it was until Sunday when they both started coughing up lungs and blowing their noses every 3 minutes. Ya know that sound in the nursing home of all the old guy yacking and it just sounds really sick and makes you not want to be there anymore? Well that's what our house was like. I thought Brant was going to die the way he was coughing and Quinn was in the bathroom every half hour doing stuff I don't want to think about. It was not good. This morning was the exact same thing. I felt like the one normal old guy in the nursing home who just wanted to leave! So...I did!
I got up and got ready then headed over to the parent's house. I hung out there most of the day. I played on my computer for a while trying to figure out how to put pictures on a freakin' disk. Well, I know how to now and it's pretty dang easy. Lesson learned. I also sat and watched an episode of The Office while my sister, Paige straightened my hair. I must say I look FABULUUUUUSSS! My plan is to get it really long, almost to my shoulders, straighten in, and then put some black color in it. I'll look just like Hugh Jackman in VanHellsing.
After my amazing make over and eating dinner it was time to head over to FHE. We met at the church and split into groups to make videos of scripture stories. Our group was doing Alma 30-31 with Korihor and Alma. I was Korihor because I was voted the most evil of my group. I took the part and I NAILED it. Kevin was Alma. Our video was hilarious. Everybody says theirs will be more funny, but when we all watch the next week we'll be able to rub it in their faces. We mixed in some real movies with our reinactment. I'll TRY to get a copy to put on here, but I can't promise anything.
After our video, a big group of us went over to Jason Taylor's to watch 24. I didn't think it was that great, but I guess it's not for everybody. That was about all I did today and now Im back to the Nursing Home. I sure hope these guys get better soon or I'll be turning into the old man hacking up a lung!

Skipped Week...
Sorry I skipped this past week on writing on this. I wanted to have a New Years Resolution of writing one of these things as much as I could. I skipped a whole week and to be honest, I wasn't too busy so I have no excuse! So I'll let ya know a little about what went on since my last post.
So we had our first Church Ball game last thursday. It's basically what me and Richard look forward to all year once it ends the year before. It's just our Stake so we've made a pretty good habit of beating the crap outta everybody in the Stake and then moving on to Region. Well our first game was against the Hobbs Creek Ward. I don't know anybody in that ward. All I know is that they're on the other side of the highway and those teams usually don't do too well....at all. They had their players show up and they were pretty young. I thought it might be a little bit of a game, but we still had my brothers Kasey and Kevin on our team. If a foreign man came to watch one of our game and was told those 2 were LeBron James and Kobe Bryant he'd believe it. It's basically those 2 and the other random 3 guys on the court that makes us win. Anyways...We started our game with our usual Laker-like cockiness. The game went back and forth, but we didnt worry too much since Kasey was on the bench and once he went in we'd be pulling away for good. The game was so close the whole time that even with Kasey in we couldn't shut them off totally. To make a long story short, We lost 76-72. Nothing like losing in church ball after thinking you're going to stomp the whole Stake into the ground. So that made me and Richard even MORE stoked for the next game.
Well on Saturday my car started acting like a retard again. I brought it home to my Dad (aka Mr. I'll guess my way though this) so I figured we'd get it figured out. We knew I had a dead battery so we went to Checker Auto to get a new one. After hooking it up the lady said that we should bring my alternator in so she could test it. So Dr. Frankenstine and I went to work on my car. I can tell ya'll now that if I ever meet some tiny little asian who works for Hyundai I'll be knocking their head right their shoulders. Morons didn't really think of a way to get to stuff under the hood. If you put 2 people who have as small fuses as my dad and I have then you're not going to have a big problem. Laughing one minute then saying how bad you want to kill somebody the next.
I honestly think it was pretty funny looking back on it. My neighbor even came over cause he was worried somebody was being tortured in our garage. So after finally googling how to get and alternator out of an Elantra, we got it out and took it to get tested. After the lady at Checker tested it, I about had steam coming from my ears when she told me nothing was wrong with it. 2 hours of being pissed off all for nothing. So we went home and put it in and figured screw trying anything else that day. If it runs then we'll leave it alone!
So now I'll skip to this passed thursday. It was the day of our 2nd church ball game and we were NOT losing this time. For all of you who don't understand how church basketball can get, keep reading and I hope I can make you see the light. Richard and I were all ready for our game and were making sure our 2 all stars were going to be there too. We got to our game and got ready and as we saw the other team show up we realized that these guys were young and athletic too. They were the 28th Ward who's ALSO on the other side of the highway. Im starting to think that doesn't mean anything anymore. Oh, how times have changed! So the game went on and it was basically the same as our last game going back and forth. We actually held the lead most of this game.
I believe the most entertaining part of the game was when somebody from the other team shot a 3 pointer and I went up to him and pushed his stomach with my fingers. Nothing hard, but just enough to make him feel uncomfortable and get distracted too. He missed the shot, but not because of anything I did. He sure didnt like what I did though. He started talking crap to me as we both jogged down the court. I just stared at him and acting like I didnt know what he was talking about. He finally had enough and just said "dude, you're a dick!" I was laughing so much inside that he said that during a church game and said it to me for not even doing anything bad to him. The team subbed him out and he was talking the whole time. Kasey was like "Hey, It's church ball". Through this whole thing I didnt say a word. I could have and kinda wish I would have, but oh well. We wont the game 59-54 so I think that said enough to him. He said I was a "class act" after the game then came over and said he was sorry and that he's just too competitive. Didn't really help his point, but oh well. So we redeemed ourselves by winning and don't plan on losing again. We came home in time to watch the last 3 quarters of the Jazz game. They were playing the REAL LeBron and the Cavs. We knew it was going to be a loss, but it's always fun to see how close they can get. The Jazz surprised everybody by pulling ahead in the 4th until LeBron just about shattered the entire state of Utah's dreams of beating Shaq and Lebron. Well, luckily with 5 seconds left the Jazz had the ball being down by only 2. They threw the in bounds pass and got it to the rookie, Sundiada Gaines who shot a 3 pointer as time ran out. It went in and The Jazz won. More proof that the Jazz CAN beat anybody, but they just like to make us mad by losing to the horrible teams of the league. So that night was awesome with basketball.
It's actually Friday right now and I just got back from Shirlock Holmes. That movie made my brain hurt cause I couldn't follow it. I also watched the Atlanta Hawks beat the Phoenix Suns with a game winning 3 pointer. Loser just wanted to be like the Jazz. Nice shot though. So I'll try to keep this more updated and I'll see if anything else fun comes up. Like another church game...

Ending with a Head Ache
Today definately did not start off bad. Having my two roommates running into my room to wake me up was not the worst thing that happened today. After waking up to a couple morons yelling at me to get up so they could play, I got up and got myself ready for the day. We were talking about Chad (Johnson) Ocho Cinco who had changed his last name because of his football number, 85. The quote of the day came when Quinn asked "What number is Chad Ocho-Cinco?"
Quinn had just left to go to work and it was just Richard and I at home. So after both of us had gotten ready we were going to go out to some stores. Our first stop was Arby's because Richard had a gift card and wanted to put it to use. So after eating our ham and cheese sandwiches and curly fries, we went on to our second stop. The next stop was F.Y.E. Richard wanted to look at all the CD's while I was looking at the used movies. I picked up a few movies and we headed over to Wal*Mart. We both picked up a few more things all while avoiding a girl we use to know. We were so not in the mood to talk somebody and I know you're all the same was, at least some of the time.
Later we went to Gray Whale so Richard could look at his usual 'head banger from Hell" CD's. While I was there, my brother Kasey call and asked if I wanted to go to the Jazz game. I gave him the obvious answer any straight, normal, Utahn guy would say and told him that I'd go. So I ushered Richard outta the store so we could go home and get ready.
We got decked out in our Jazz gear and headed to Salt Lake. We hauled over there and and stood in line FOREVER to get into the game. We got to our 23rd row seats and watched the Jazz kick the crap outta the Memphis Grizzleys. We stayed for 3 and a half quarters and then headed home cause it was basketball at the church night! Couldn't miss that for anything! We changed into our ballin' clothes and headed back to Layton. We got there in 20 minutes and we ready to ball it up. We were only on our first game when I was on a fast break and was trying to drive passed my brother, Kevin when both of our heads slammed into each other. I actually blacked out for a split second and was instantly in A LOT of pain. My eye swelled up and my whole right eye went blurry, It was like staring into one of those TV's that only shows the black and white crap. I felt blinded and it really sucked. So for the rest of the night I had a bad head ache.
Richard and I came home and got some Burger King and that was the end of the night. I hope I don't have a concussion and slip into a coma tonight when I fall asleep. We'll see if I ever get another blog on here soon! Keep your fingers crossed!

Bad Day For Sports
As you can see it was not the best day for sports. Atleast not last night in the state of Utah. Not too long after I had posted my last blog from yesterday, I received an instant message on Facebook. It was Ashley Ezzell, who I went to school with. She asked me if I wanted to go to the Jazz game with her because the someone else she was going to take wanted to stay home and watch the Fiesta Bowl with Boise State and TCU. So I figured I could miss watching a football game and actually go to a Jazz game with a girl. Who wouldn't?
About an hour or so after talking to her I got myself up and got ready. The day before I found out my battery was dead on my car so I walked outside and just tried to see if it'd start. Being who I am and having absolutley NO luck at all it didnt start. So I called my sister, Paige, to come to my house and pick me up or try to jump start my car. When she got there we tried to jump it. After about shocking myself back to 1986, we figured it just wasn't going to work. So Paige drove me home while making a emergency pit stop to Wendy's. WHen we got home I waited for my mom who's car I was going to take down to Salt Lake. It was almost 6:00 and I was suppose to be meeting Ashley there at 6:30. We were meeting in front of the Victoria's Secret store at the Gateway Mall. It's one of the few places both of us knew how to get to. So I ended up taking Paige's car down to Salt Lake and I was right on schedule to get there at 6:30. After getting to the Gateway and parking in my usual parking spot behind the mall in the land of the bums, I just waited for Ashley to get there.
I waited about 5 minutes before she got there and we both walked to the Arena. The Jazz were playing the New Orleans Hornets so it should be an easy game, right? Chris Paul (CP3) vs. Daron Williams (D-Will) the 2 best point guards in the league. It should be good. We go to our seats which were upper deck, row 3. Not bad at all except for the crazy 13 year old girl behind us who thought it would have been a genius idea to let her coach the team. Then there was the guy a few rows back who almost every 5 minutes would yell "Posey", the name of a Hornets player. The old lady sitting next to me was quite entertaining too.
The Jazz were tearing it up just as we thought they would do at their won home court. The second half was all down hill. The Hornets tore the Jazz apart like a bunch of Ethipoian cannibals. The Jazz ended up losing 91-87. It was the first Jazz game I've seen all year where they lost. After the game, Ashley and I walked out to the car and sat there for about 30 minutes just talking. Talked a lot about high school and people we knew. She kept checking her phone for me to see who was winning during the Boise State-TCU game. At the end of the night, TCU lost to Boise 10-17. I wanted TCU because obviously it's in Fort Worth where I served my mission AND in the Mountain West Conference with Utah and BYU. So both my teams let me down and it just kinda sucked.
AFter all that, I came home to drop Paige's car off. She needed it for school so I had to leave it there. My car was still at my house though. I drove her car back to my place, picked my computer up and a movie, then drove back home. I stayed the night in Kasey's old room which is now become a "guest bedroom". Our family is moving on up! I talked to a few people on facebook and then watched Meet The Parents before falling asleep. That was the extent of the day. Not too exciting, but I'll try to make my life more exciting so people will have a reason to read this and be entertained.

First Blog!
Well, this is my first blog ever. Im not a pro at it like Dantzelle Allen or Kallee Shelley, but I cant try. So Im assuming this is just like a little journal type of thing so I'll just wing it and see where it goes. I just looked at Kallee's and her's was pretty cool so I figured I'd do it too.
To let everybody know about me and my life you better make yourself comfortable. Honestly, you should problably sit in a very uncomfortable chair with the AC going full blast to keep you awake because it's not too exciting.
I just moved here in Ogden in November with 3 other guys. I live with two friends, Richard Brough and Quinn Davidson, and another roommate Brant Watters. It's a pretty nice duplex that we're living in here. It's 2000 sq feet with 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. It's a typical bachelor pad with random pieces of furniture around the house and the Xbox going a lot. On black friday I used my skills learned from Mama to score a nice 32 inch TV for the house here. It's a whole lot better than the 3 tv's we have from the D.I. that you basically have to pray for them to work after letting them warm up for 30 minutes. So I guess you could say that we're progressing pretty well. I finally got my room decorated. Is that a gay way to describe it? Maybe I should say I made my room less boring by putting pictures, flags, etc. on the walls. I can post pictures soon.
I really dont know what to write on these things because Im so green at it, but I will update you on everything that's going on so far. My current church calling is a member of the Activities Commitee. Church Basketball is just getting ready to start and you have NO IDEA how excited I am for it. I've got a feeling that this is our year. We're going to take Region this year. It's something to get me out of the house and get some exercise and have some fun. So with this starting I will be playing basketball on wednesday nights along with our games on thursday night. I better be getting in shape, but something tell me that drinking Dr. Pepper right before playing isn't exactly the smartest thing to do. At the age of 23 I should be able to get up and down the court more than 3 times without wanting an oxygen mask.
That's the extent of everything going on as of right now. For this new year I want to be able to keep up on one of these things like Kallee and everybody else who's not lazy like me. I think it's pretty fun and it will sure keep me busy. You can only watch so much Dr. Phil without going crazy....atleast for us guys. So I hope y'all enjoyed this first entry and I will try to keep you entertained.
